The Marryin' Kind
Of course Gus also attended.
After dinner, we watched Disturbia! All of us for the first time, except for Lauren. She'd forgotten most of it, and couldn't remember when to tell me to shut my eyes! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and left the damned thing up at the cabin. Awesome.
Saturday was the 21st, our anniversary, and we celebrated by sleeping in until 2:30. That's right folks, 2:30 PM! It was glorious. We spent the rest of the day at the Park City Outlets, where Tadd purchased himself a plethera of golf polos at the Polo outlet, and I, some sandals.
We then ate at Main Street Pizza and Noodle on Main Street, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places. Afterward, we headed back to the cabin for a quiet evening, but not before stopping at the Sundance General Store for suckers!
We really enjoyed a relaxing weekend, and can't wait for what the next year of marriage may bring!
I love you Taddow!

Saturday Evening

I did buy this suit below, however, and it's super cute. I also got another one from Lime Ricki thats not on their site, love the style though. I would just like to publicly thank you modest-swimwear creators out there, you rock. Not that I don't like a good bikini here and there, but when I want the perfect tankini, I can always count on you!

Here's to a night with no end...

Self Tag
FAVORITE PAIR OF SHOES- Depends on the season of course! Winter/Fall: prolly my Banana Republic cowboyish boots I found on Ebay for like $80. Spring/Summer: Currently my sweet find from Forever 21, strappy white sandals with a teeny wedge.
NEW YEARS RESOLUTION- I guess I'm a little late on this tag. Um, my resolution is to stop eating 100 calorie packs of Kettle Corn Popcorn at 12:07 in the morning.
WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW- Dina Lohan chastising Cody.
IF YOU HAD $200 TO SPEND ON YOURSELF WHAT WOULD IT BE- Jeans, and maybe perfume if any money is left over. I smell.
RANDOM THOUGHT- My pants are getting too tight. Arrowhead water is the only bottled water any one should ever drink. Reality TV is a waste of e-v-e-r-y b-o-d-i-e-s time. I'm excited Mama Mia will be a movie this summer!
FAVORITE PLACE TO GO IN THE CITY YOU LIVE IN- Super lame, but I love my bed. And the pool.
THE BOOK YOU ARE READING - I pretended to read The Uglies, but got uber bored. Just the Scripies for now.
I'm tagging everyone whose name begins with a letter.
D-D-D-Dress up!

Quick Trip to Idaho
Last week Mary Kate's mom, Carol, died of Alzheimer's at a very early age of 52. Without a second thought Ali and I began to plan our trip to Idaho for the funeral.
Leaving around 5:00 p.m on Sunday, we arrived in Shelley Idaho around 8:30 just in time to honor her mom at the viewing. Viewings tend to make me a little uneasy and squeamish, but I was surprisingly calm. Her mother looked so beautiful and peaceful in her temple clothing.
Since the viewing was practically over I was able to stand over her casket with Mary for a few minutes and talk about the past few days, and how she's been dealing with everything. She showed me that she got to pluck her mom's eyebrows, and how she knew her mom would appreciate that since she was always so put together when she was alive and a few years into her diagnosis. She said her mom would've been so embarrassed to be seen by hundreds of people without a little grooming! I was surprised to hear that Mary Kate really enjoyed doing that, and she said it was a good way to heal.
After the viewing we headed to Mary Kate's parents estate. Not really an estate, but her home was amazing! Set on acres and acres of land, and surrounded by their potato farms (classic), it was really so beautiful! I even considered a small town life there for a few milliseconds.
Mary Kate wanted Ali and I to pull her hair a little blonder since both of her sisters are blonde, and that's how they grew up. Three blondies!
We had a blast coloring her hair, and then playing dress up in her room (more to come on that later). I love being with those girls, I can 100% be myself!
The funeral was the next morning, and it was truly a beautiful service. Mary Kate and her sisters did the life sketch, and I really loved listening to the type of person Carol was.
Grabbing a Diet Coke after the service with Carrie!
Carrie and her husband live in Boise and traveled down to Shelley and completely surprised Mary Kate! Nothin' like a good funeral BBQ! I super duper love funeral potatoes.

Today's Thoughts
On a happier note, I may be spending some of my day at 7 peaks tomorrow. Yup, I, a nearly-23-year-old, bought a 7 peaks pass. It was super cheap, so don't judge me. I just need SUN! A friend I dance with has one too, so we'll just go there and maybe pick up on some 14 year old boys with our dance moves. Sweeeeet.
I started going to a tennis class, which was super fun the first day, and super embarrassing the second day. I'd like to blame my parents for never placing a beloved tennis racket in my hands as a child (It's much easier to blame others for your lack of talent). I'd actually like to be decent in at least one sport in my life, I thought tennis might be that lucky sport. I'm being too hard on myself, it's only been two lessons...someone encourage me, please.
I'll be waxing a pair of legs tonight. Not my own, Ali's. I think it's going to hurt her a lot, especially since I've never waxed such a large area. No Ali, your legs are not large. I'm just comparing them to say...eyebrows. I hope that goes well. I apologize in advance, Ali, for the pain I will cause you.

My Dear Sweet Love
Dear Licorice Love, You are divine. Those bold claims on your exterior are an understatement. Ever since I met you I fell fast and hard for you. You are a tasty treat at any time of the day. In fact, I had nine pieces of you in bed last night. Lights off, husband snoring, and me just chewing away. It was delightful.
I wish my husband wouldn't find you so delicious as well. I wish I could come home to the three extra bags I bought a Smith's one evening at midnight, rather than one and a half.
I just discovered you have dozens of other flavors, and I've now realized you will become a vice for me and my husband. However, I don't hold it against you. You're amazing.
Love,
Your biggest fan

Another Pretty Creation
I Swear I Graduated...
Paula colored her hair black about eight months ago. She's Columbian (this has nothing to do with the story), and she rocked her hair color for a few months. S
he then flipped through her wedding album, and re-liked her lighter hair color (level 7) from her past. She decided it was time to lighten her hair.
We began this process six months ago. First process: three applications of Prava Color Remover, and her highlights. She was less black afterward.
Between first and second process: Paula discovered she was pregnant, and I blamed her hair's refusal to lighten on her growing belly.
Second process: Full weave to lighten most pieces, she was then a dark brown with caramel highlights. Very pretty.
Third process (two nights ago): Soap cap. This is basically a bleach shampoo, and can be risky. But I was ready to get my hands dirty.

My Husband the Golfer
He grew hair! And it came in gray, creepy.
Preparing for the tournament on Thursday, out golfing with our friends. I can't believe he rewore this shirt on Saturday for the Open. Fashion faux pas, dear Tadd.
This man has a beauty of a swing
I get bored and take pictures of myself. I'm thinking of sending this one into America's Next Top Model. I'm super hot.
Skittles, Scott and Kristen
Scotty and Kristen made us dinner that night after golfing. Tadd loved the chicken kabobs. Maybe I should learn to cook, and make him yummy things. Maybe he would love me again.
Congrats on your third place title in the Provo Open, honey bunches. You are such a great golfer, and I'm so proud of you! I can't help but brag about you to my friends because you deserve it! Keep it up, so I can meet Tiger Woods someday!

A Day at the Park City
The boys games were pretty violent! They can hit each other with their sticks and push really hard! (If they aren't called sticks, don't correct me. I enjoy being ignorant).
I went up to Park City with my friend Whitney, also an employee. We headed up there at about 9 a.m. I was so dang proud of myself for being prepared with MapQuest directions to the Park City High School. It took us about an hour to arrive at our MapQuested destination. A few minutes before arrival, we both went silent and looked around at our destination. Why would a high school be in a residential area? A hilly residential area? Is the Park City High School really in Jeremy Ranch just off the golf course?
Then a light went on in Whitney's head, that smart girl.
W: Did you MapQuest the wrong address?
C: Of course not, I entered in the address on the email we got from that dude at Nu Skin.
W: Pulling out her BlackJack to check the email, "Caitlyn! You found directions for the home address you ship supplies to for the Lacrosse event!"
I then had to sheepishly call the head of the event and tell him we were lost. He asked where we were, and I told him he didn't want to know. Serves me right for trying to be a big girl! We had a pretty good laugh though!
Our main job was to answer product questions. Are either of us trained in Product Support? Nope!
*
I made up some truly amazing things about our product. I believe I even told one boy that our juice would make him kiss better.
*
All in all, a lovely day. I've NEVER been so burnt in my life. This was two weeks ago and my arm (singular) is still peeling.
*
I can't complain about the 14 hours of overtime though!

Sole Struck
-010601.jpg)
I have a crush on red shoes. These have a darling small wedge, so imagine them with white knee length shorts and a colored tee.

Now if only I had the ankles to wear these, or half the flats I want.
