Polar Express
Aaaaalllll Aboard!
This year for Christmas Tadd's parents gave us the experience of riding the Polar Express to the North Pole! On the Heber Creeper, of course.
The gift was mostly for the kids, but we adults definitely benefited from it as well! Unfortunately, Tadd was in St. George at a golf tournament (which he won), but that meant I got to take Jack as my date!
Adrie ready to board the train. Don't you love her little boots Tadd and I got her for her birthday? She was so sweet, near the end of the train ride she wanted to come up and show me that she wore them on this special night.
My date and me. Jack LOVED the Polar Express, and Whitney told me he'd been playing conductor for days afterward.
Just to show how happy Jack was. It's hard to get him to pose for one picture, let alone about a dozen that night!
After hot chocolate and cookies we settled in for our ride up to the North Pole!
Reading the Polar Express, and seeing the anticipation in the kids eyes was so fun!
Crew looks so sweet and content here, can't say the same about him once Santa came aboard! The poor kid was terrified of him!
Once we'd reached our destination Santa came aboard and asked each and every child what they wanted for Christmas, and handed them a bell!

Giving Thanks and Gaining Weight
We spent Thanksgiving at the Coxes this year and my, was it delicious! I took my last Zofran that day so I could really enjoy the giant meal! Now I really wish I still had some...
Typical couple shot by the table
Griffin sampling the relish tray
Steve carving the delicious turkey
After dinner we spent some time lounging around napping, watching football, or crafting a bit.
Later that evening we went down to the fire station to drop off a pie to thank them for all they do (Lacey and Rick's idea)! The firefighters were so great and took us on a tour of the firetrucks! Such a great holiday!

And yes, I'm thankful for many things! Please don't shun me from the blogosphere for not listing them all.

Halloween-ness
Don't take this as a sign of many posts to come...I just happen to be reeeally bored right now...
October came and went so dang fast, but without much hoopla. Naturally Halloween was a main event, and also finding out we are expecting a little June bug! Other than that...I have nothing else to report.
Starting at the top: Madi - Tootsie Roll, Milo - Cowboy, Crew - Monkey, Ellie - Hippie, Mazie - Indian, Kyra - Gypsie, Ava - Kitty, Griffin - Monkey, Andrew - Batman, Adrie - Bumblebee,
Bree - Cow, Addison - Zebra, Jack - Army guy, Van - Santa Clause
Me, Lacey, Tysen, Shaley, Kecia, Lindey
We spent Halloween with the Coxes this year, and since it wasn't ridiculously cold out I headed out with the trick-or-treaters!
My favorite picture of the night. Bree was enjoying herself so much that she tended to wander off a little. Kris found this was the most effective way to bring her back to the herd.
Other Halloween activities I participated in...
Pumpkin Carving (post to come later)
Thriller (deleted my pictures like a fool)
Witches Night (post to come later)

Here's Why...
I'm exhausted...
So tired that I've decided I can't book more than two clients in a day...
I'm ornery...
I'm intolerant...
I feel small waves of nausea throughout the day...

Ten - Oh Nine - Oh Nine
Shaley and Roman's wedding day was just perfect!
Everything went so well, and the couple couldn't have looked happier the whole day!
The day started out at 8 A.M. in my bathroom for hair and make-up. I was a titch nervous that Shaley would be a jittery wreck (as she had forewarned), therefore making the whole experience a disaster. Luckily, she was excited and looking forward to the big day...only a few butterflies!
The only hitch of the day was when Tadd headed out to the Provo temple, which would've made for a delightful ceremony...however, the sealing was to take place at Mt. Timpanogas! Thank goodness Grandpa set him straight! (I was being the silent backseat passenger...or rather completely clueless as to what was going on).
We did make it on time, and luckily we didn't have to replay the events of Haley's wedding...(disaster), and the sealing was wonderful!
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Madsen!
SO beautiful and SO handsome!
The girls were fascinated with Shaley's dress and just couldn't get enough of her!
Children of the day from Shaley's side of the family!
Lindey, Myself, Lacey, Roman, Shaley, Kecia, Tysen and Camme
Cox sisters!
Roman with four of his five sisters (Candice, Rissa, Hayley and Natalie). Unfortunately, Rachel is pregnant and veeery sick so she wasn't able to come. We definitely missed her!
Tadd was the most adorable of all! Wouldn't you say?
At the luncheon listening to Uncle Del read his famous poem. Knee slapper, I tell ya!
Shaley with all the brothers, Shaley with all the sisters, Roman with all the brothers, and all the siblings with their spouses smoochin'! (Rick and Lacey were just about there)
Chris and Tysen with their kids, the bride and groom with all the kids, and Kris and Kecia with their kids.
I don't have one of the Leishmans, or I'd post that too! Maybe Lacey should blog, so I could steal one... tee hehe!
All the sisters in their fancy dresses!
More kids!
L-R: Kris and Bree, Tadd and the dudes in their sweater vests, Addison kickin' back, Myself and Breezy, Kecia with her girls, Tadd and Crew, Haley and Addison, Uncle Tadd and Addison

Such a perfect, special day!
The neatest thing of the day would've been all the Cox siblings and their spouses present at the sealing. There was a very special spirit in the room, and I feel so blessed to have been a part of such a great experience!
Congratulations Shay and Roman! We wish you the BEST in your new life together!
