Dear Crest on 7th
Thank you for giving your store a much needed face lift by hiring the prettiest employee you've ever had
Thank you for your massive array of sweets
Thank you Nu Skin (almost the same as Crest) for hiring this rare beauty, Bree Nelson, to work in my department
Thank you for your bright, colorful walls that made me feel happy while I consumed polish dogs and Smart Corn. Yum.
Thank you, THANK YOU for your unlimited supply of my Elixir of Life. How I will miss my ridiculously discounted nectar.Wednesday, December 31, 2008
Snow Day
The Gladstan Golf Course by my parent's home offers a slew of perfectly steep hills.
Let us thank Nick's mom for lending Mallory those amazing 80's throwback snow bibs, matching coat included.Haley Marie took a time out and chilled with Jack, who became a little bit of a wuss after just a couple runs. Tisk, tisk.

What If...
I had this conversation with a friend at lunch today while at Bajio enjoying a kids quesidilla. Odd conversation, right? Well, Kristen dared to claim that Bajio's kids quesidilla with ranch, Mexican rice and black beans would be her last meal. WHOA, dream big.
If I were a dirty, rotten prisoner on death row, I think I'd request a five course meal beginning with Cheesecake Factory's Roasted Artichoke as my appetizer. My next course would be my Mom's Chicken Tamale Pie. At this point, I'd need a long Diet Coke break, assuming the prison guards are kind enough to allow it.
Ahhh, once I've quenched my thirst, I'd move onto a Cafe Rio Pork Salad, sans rice and beans. Wow, at this point I'll probably burst, so maybe the five course meal was a little too adventurous. Unless I think of another dish I MUST have, I'll move onto dessert.
For the last and final food I will ever taste (this is getting pretty morose) I would ask for Fried Ice Cream from Los Hermanos. Maybe two of them. With a cherry on top.
My last meal says a lot about how much I eat out...SAD. I need to change that. Whitney, a little help?

Coming Clean
Things I Just Don't Care About:
My regrowth. I spend enough time caring for other's regrowth, I don't have time to worry about my own.
Matching my clothes
Watching sports (looks like Lindey and I have a lot in common!), especially football.
A spic and span clean house
Using my favorite swear words
Increasing my cup size. I'd actually be perfectly happy to see my cup size decrease.
The need to create. I don't care to be crafty. Why craft when I can pay someone who will?
Eating organically. Gag.
Getting my teeth checked regularly
Pinching pennies, although I should
Brand new mass-produced furniture. I like the old stuff found in thrift stores and friend's storage units.
My Diet Coke addiction
A clean car
Getting any presents for Christmas
Showering everyday (wow, do I care if anything is clean?)
Cooking. I just don't.
Here is what my dear ol' husband does not care about:
Reading other people's blogs
Drinking Diet Coke
Professional athletes that do stupid things and expect the human race to feel bad for them.
Being rich one day
Getting any presents for Christmas (with the both of us not caring, makes Christmas easy-peasy!)
Talking golf off the course (Tadd is napping so I added this one in)
So, friendlings...what do you not care about? Do tell, just as others around the blog world have, such as my sissy.

The Most Important
1. The Gospel. Where would I be without it? It's so comforting to know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and cares for me. He wants to see me happy, and has created a plan for me to be eternally happy. I'm so thankful for the gift of prayer. I feel so blessed to have the ability to speak with Him anytime I please, and furthermore, knowing that He will answer me in due time is such an immense blessing. I'm so grateful for Jesus Christ, and what He sacrificed to allow me eternal happiness. The atonement is such an amazing gift!
2. My Family. I have not one, but two wonderful families. I don't even know where to start with this one! Bottom line: I have a rockin' family, and I am so blessed to have awesome in-laws! I truly enjoy the time I get to spend with both families, and I lucked out even more to have them both nearby! I love each and every member of my family for too many reasons to list!
3. My Husband. There is so much I could say about Tadd, but I'll start to get all mushy and weepy, so it's best to keep this short. I love Tadd with all my heart, and feel so lucky to be loved unconditionally by him. I am his sweetheart, and he is mine. Tadd is so kind, and soft spoken. He has never raised his voice at me, and although may not be the most sentimental or thoughtful person (bless his heart), I always know my best interest is in his mind, and all he's trying to do is love me more and more. Tadd is so patient, which can't be said about myself, and is a constant example to me of patience, giving and love. I'm so grateful I'm stuck with this man!

Boys vs. Girls

I apologize for those of you that do not think these pictures are hilarious...because they are. White boys shakin' their thang and calling to the crowd "What yo momma said!"
Anticipating the crowd's choice after a requested encore...
