Do these posts make me seem like a giving, selfless, and caring person?

Well don't be fooled, I'm quite selfish. I just get a kick out of homeless people.
(That is so not true, it's really quite sad)

Beef brisket, taco salad and pear halves. Doesn't that look so appetizing in mass quantity?

Susan, Ty Bennett and me

Don't I look super bugged that the cook is touching me?

When you're trying to be the favorite Aunt and Uncle...

...you let the borrowed boy stay up for some midnight pasta, and then continue watching Hairspray in the big bed until we drift off to sleep...

Sunday's Are Just Awesome

Sunday's are days for raiding Mal's closet and creating outfits we'll most likely never wear.

Please note that most clothing articles featured are thrift store finds. I admire you, Mal-Roy

NSE Convention: Day 3,409

Kris and I with friend, Heather Randall. We were being oh-so important right before this picture, and had to be yanked from our duties.

Add in Leon, Steve and Jerraine, and you've got one wild, and random, Nu Skin group!

Goo Goo Dolls & Victor Green

The Goo Goo Dolls graced Nu Skin's convention with their presence, and it was rad! (Is "rad" so out?)

I was backstage during the show for a few reasons:
1. How cool am I to be backstage?
2. My feet hurt too much to stand in the crowd.
Mal and Whit joined me, and then later Celina and Nicole. This photo you see below...totally contraband!

Sadly, I decided to abide by the contract we had with the band, and I cannot post the picture of me and friends with the band! (BTW: Johnny Resnick totally had his arm around me! P.S: I am still happily married)

Johnny himself

Oh ya, Nick was there too!

A different day at convention, I had the pleasure of taking a picture with the one and only Victor Green. "Why the treadmill", you ask? Some Pharmanex product promotion to be sure.
VG noticed I was sneaking a picture and invited me up on his platform!

Now um...can anyone tell me exactly who Victor Green is?

Fare Thee Well

You probably see most of these people featured on my blog often. Well, it's because I like them. Yup, I have friends. Be shocked.

Nick's last group lunch before heading off to Israel for his J-O-B. Farewell friend, but be back soon! You are missed!

Fancy Night

One of the nights during convention was our Force for Good Charity Event, which I had the honor of attending as a guest and a Vanna White! (No pictures from that, so sorry)

Kristen, Susie, Deb and Whitney.
Mike and I before dinner, one of my bosses.

Susie and Deb are two distributors who are freaking rad! We love these girls! Also, I bet you can't guess their ages...

The Funk of Fourty Thousand Years

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I have a plethera...

Adrienne as a prom queen, Caitlyn as a murdered bride, and Celina as a slaughtered house wife.

I almost double as Edward Scissorhands in drag! With Mal, Nick and his niece, Lucy.

And don't forget Kristen as a trampled cow girl, or Susan as a morose doctor.

...I will be thankful for the following:

1. Diet Coke and PB Twix.
2. Free drinks at Mally's work.
3. My heating pad at work. It's freezing here!

The Moppet

Congratulations to our friends Paula and Alex for the arrival of their first born, the moppet
(as we fondly called her in the womb)!

Welcome to the world Isabella Soria!

Kristen holding her first since she "called it" the closest to conception.

Today I'm Thankful for...

1. My sisters. I love them all for different reasons, especially how different each of them are.
2. Heaters!
3. The changing of seasons, but only when it changes from Spring to SUMMER!

Twizzle

I'm a bit of a Twilight fan
although Bella bugs me occasionally
so I was excited to see that Twilight's soundtrack
has already been released on iTunes!
Check it, my friends.

Wed-a-nes-day

Here's how I've felt all day...

Until the sight of my new (free) clutch caught by eye, and made me happy! Thank you Nu Skin!

Grateful's

Today this is what I'm thankful for:

1. Golf, and when the husband plays it often. (Ask me about his current handicap, I might tell you)
2. My flitting fingers across the keyboard and speedy toggling abilities
3. Chandler Bing

Thank you!

I'm feeling like a total loser since I didn't plan on listing three "grateful's" each day of November, although my sisters, mother and now cousins and aunt are doing it. My guilt is now getting the best of me, and I have succumbed. Behold, the first of many gratitude postings:

1. Sunday. A day to feel rejuventated in many ways.
2. Eternity
3. People to learn from.

Peterson Halloweenie

Mr. Tradition instructed the Peterson home to conduct a Spooky Dinner, and conduct we did. Queen Whitney is really the one who can take most of the credit, since she cooked the spooky food. Surprisingly, all the family was in town and attended!

Warning: LOTS of pics included

First, a preview of the "creative" costumes. See below:

Ah, Nick and Mal. Nick eerily reminded me of Val Kilmer in Willow when he dons a wig.

Meg n' Mark. With and Spartan.

Bootsie the Butterfly. Or, was she a fairy?

Where's your trailer dudes?

Tadd is such a tool! Our friend Scott made this costume and won $100 as second most creative costume!

That picture pinned to Dad's front, ME circa 1988. You had to see it to believe it.

Don't I pull off the part of a concerned World War II nurse?

SuperVan!

Nice spider!

Queen of Everything, Danny Zuko and the kids.

Can I call you Cleo?
All in all, an entertaining event! Thank you Momma and Whit for hosting the party!

United Way

Another Force for Good thingie. We volunteered at The Women and Children Crisis Center, and wow, that was eyeopening. I have a very hard time with things like this.

The fact that this center is even necessary makes me physically ill. I look forward to the day that child molesters and abusers burn in hell. Whoa, did I just say that?
