Dallas Roberts Academy of Hair Design - Class of 2005!

As many of you know I attended Dallas Roberts Hair Academy in Provo, and I know work at Robert Cole Salon in Provo. Although it was slightly an extension of high school, what with all the girls and their drama, I really enjoyed it and I'm so glad I went! I thought you may enjoy viewing some pictures of my happenings at the salon and at hair school.

In the fall of my first few months in hair school, we had a hair show at the Regan Theatre at UVSC. The theme was Era's of Hair (or something along those lines). Our era was Futuristic! I recruited my little sis, Mallory, and one of her friends, and then we had a bunch of girls from school.

A couple other students, our instructor, Joni Maw Bryce, and I coreographed the dance we did for the show, and it was really neat! It was a techno song that started out very softly, and my friend Hillary and I came on dancing in pointe shoes, and then it broke out into this cool techno (although not my typical music of choice, but it worked perfectly).

How rad is Mally's hair? We didn't use any hair extensions, just styrofoam balls!

I always catch Ali at her best. We did a classy roller set on her hair.

This is the new shade I'm sporting, it's so pretty! *Wink*

Memorable Photographs

So I saw my mom was whipping out embarrassing pictures of her children years ago, so rather than pitching a fit, I decided to top her pictures with ones I've discovered. Enjoy!

My sisters and I went to Westridge Elementary, and back then Westridge was a year round school. We were on the track system, and we had breaks periodically for a few weeks. We always took advantage of those breaks, and did all sorts of fun activities. Here are we visiting a dinosaur park of sorts; I'm sincerely hoping you don't immediately recognize which one I am...
Whitney was once heard saying that in this photograph she's fairly sure she's having the most fun of her life. Wouldn't you agree?

...Cause this is Thriller! THRILLER NIGHT!

For those of you that live in Utah, and don't take advantage of the Odyssey Dance Team's Halloween show, shame on you! It's absolutely amazing! I went for the third time this year, and loved every minute of it!

My annual Thriller partner, Mary Kate Anderson, and her friend Krichele.

WHEN you go, be sure to arrive there early! Here's why...

It's hilarious to watch all these zombies walk around and scare the heck out of so many people! I must admit, I was subject to their terror numerous times...

Um...her arm? Gross.

I'm setting my little sister up with this guy

Our best zombie faces, sans makeup.

Scared out of my life!

Mary Kate, obviously not so scared

You MUST go see this show, it's so incredible!

Also Addicted to Nieces and Nephews...

Here are a few snapshots of our neices and nephews on Tadd's side for your enjoyment!

Chris and Tysen's Ava with her new baby brothers.

The boys doing what they do best, sleeping! They both like to have their hands out of their blankets, and up above their heads. Griffin is the most adamant about it, he'll wiggle out of his swaddled blanket to get his hands up there.

I Get Paid for This?

I have an awesome job. Awesome. Besides the fact that I happen to enjoy my position, I work for an amazing company. This amazing company I work for provides their employees with great company parties, kick-butt bonuses, and occasional activities such as cracker-eating contests. See below:

Nervously awaiting my crackin' debut

My fellow competitors

Nick Johnson. Notice the cracker spray.

Kristen Byram. Nothing makes for a better cracker-eating contestant than an individual with braces.

I had a divine strategy...pour water onto my crackers to eliminate dryness and sticking. They said I'd be disqualified though...

Don't you wish you worked in Executive Support at Nu Skin Enterprises???

You Don't Know Jack

My second oldest sister, Whitney, or more commonly known as "Wheenie", is the only daughter of the sixchix who has graced my parents with a grandchild. Because of her giving nature, in regards to this grandchild, she is naturally the favorite. (It's ok Mom and Dad, I understand. No hard feelings.)

Jack Rockwell Ingram is certainly the apple of my parent's eyes, and gosh I don't blame them. Jack is loads of fun, and at such a hilarious age right now. The other day Jack took his juice box and snack in hand and began walking down the stairs. His mother hears him call, "Bye Whitney! I'm going to Tuesday!". Now who couldn't love that?

Jack is painting up a storm, and not so happy to have his picture taken.

Jack has an infectious laugh, and in my head, he's issuing that laugh right at this moment.

Carving Pumpkins

Tadd and I joined my family in Elk Ridge for some Halloween Festivities. Here are some pics from the event.

Jack donned his Halloween costume to show his aunts. He's just the cutest looking zebra!

Whitney being awesome, as always.

This carving was my genius idea. I realize it looks like "OX", but it's not! I'll give you one guess as to what it really was...

If you guessed, "COX", way to go! Yes, it was super lame, but I thought it would be cool. Guess not...

Believe it or not, this is mine and Tadd's first pumpkin! I feel we have now reached an incredible milestone in our relationship.

Tadd clearly hated my initial idea, so he started up his own pumpkin. I wasn't allowed to assist.

HIS finished product. Awesome, an incarcerated candle.

Oh, and by the way, we're really photogenic. Obv.

Holding the Twins

Crew Christopher and Griffin Ty were born September 23rd, and spent their first few weeks in NICU. Chris and Tysen were finally able to bring the boys home yesterday, October 5th, but I was able to first hold them when they were still in the newborn intensive care unit. Here are a couple pictures!

I'm holding Crew in this picture. This was just a few days after I had spent some time of my own in the E.R for an ovarian cyst, so if I look frail and sickly, it's because I was!

Lindey is holding Crew here, and I'm holding Griffin. It was so fun to hold one of them and just stare at him, and then switch! They are absolutely not identical, and it was just so fun to notice the differences in their faces! They are adorable little boys, and I can't wait to help Chris and Tysen out at their home!

Nu Skin's Global Convention

This post is extremely past due considering that Nu Skin's convention was over a month ago, but I think I just mustered up enough energy to discuss this 4-day event. Needless to say, this event was utterly exhausting, although fun and rewarding. I was one ornery girl by the end of it, and was lucky enough to be able to go home mid-afternoon on the last day, rather than late that evening.

Nu Skin has their enormous global convention once every two years, and it is truly a sight to behold. I won't be able to do it justice by trying to explain the amount of money, time and effort that goes into this convention. And, there is no way to explain the number of asians who attend. I will find a few extra pictures and post them later. But for now, here are just some of me and some friends.

Kristen and I during Bill Cosby's entertainment. We work in the same department and we're basically inseparable during work.

Ashley Church and I during some workshop of sorts. This was the last day, and I was sooo tired! Ash doesn't work in my same department, but don't let that fool you! We make sure we still see plenty of each other!

Not sure when this was, but I think we both fell asleep promptly after this picture was taken.

More pictures to come...
