Spring Break. Vacation time. First time I've taken a Spring Break vacation in 300 years. It seems.

So many fond names for this baby, this baby that is now mobile.

And into e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. How his mom keeps up with him is beyond me.

He even mosied (is that even a word?) on over to Skype-Mallory one morning. Melts your lil' heart!

I'm a Goddess

...karaoke goddess, that is. I joined Whitney, Trent and Bree (among others) at

Atchafalaya's for a good ol' embarrass-yourself-in-front-of-a-drunken-crowd night. It was fantastic!

Best parts of the night:
1. Bree's rendition of "Castle on a Cloud"
2. Bree and I nailed down our go-to song. "Sweet Dreams" by Heart

Rock n' Roll

4 years and still growing. I thoroughly enjoy my nephew being so close so I can watch him get so big!

Could he look any happier? Reminds me of a picture of his mother near this same age. Wish I had it (hint, hint Ma).

Tadd decided 4 years was a good age for a suit! One he can grow a bit into, anyway.

Our thank you card narrated by Jack, scribed by Whitney, thanked us for the "little suit". Something about that sent me into fitful giggles.

Serving us our skittle sacrament similar to the deacons, which he is fascinated with.

Happy Birthday Cowboy Jack. We love you!

Benefit #2

Second benefit of working in my department: hitching a ride on a private plane from Boise to Provo.

Plan: head home same night I flew in to surprise Tadd. Wife arrives home 12 hours before scheduled, happy husband! Right? Wrong.

Forgot to tell him I was going to be "occupied" for the next few hours, so when I landed at midnight, he was in a full-fledged panic. Whoopsies.

I've Been Waiting For So Long...

My new favorite BIL, Chris, treated the girls to Celine Dion tickets Christmas of 2007! We finally made it, or rather SHE finally made it to her own concert in February. This was definitely the experience of a lifetime!

All in a Day's Ride

Two weeks ago, I attended a recognition trip for Nu Skin, which included a half day of snowmobiling...naturally, I had to ensure that my executives were safe on the summit!

Awaiting my first time snowmobiling! If you're wondering if I was one of the first to crash, the answer is yes. No worries, it just so happens that four feet of snow acts like a giant cushion.

Jeff, Kristen, myself, Scott and Ryan. I sure impressed the dudes with my daring antics. Scaling jumps, riding unchartered trails, etc. Yeah, I'm bad ass.
